Traditional Luaus
They may be the most traditional touristy thing to do in Hawaii, but no visit to the Big Island is complete without a night at a luau. Traditional luau fare includes kalua pig, chicken, and fish alongside Hawaiian sweet potatoes and fried rice. Entertainment includes Samoan fire-knife dancing, Tahitian dancing, and other traditional Hawaiian dances. Fine Dining
Hawaii is home to some of the most delicious fine dining, most of it based around the abundance of fresh seafood and local produce that is grown on the island. When ingredients are soureced locally, you taste it. These restaurants are a few of our favorites.
